How about starting a new directory? How to proceed ?

I have a plan of making a web directory.
I dont know how to make up my move, I have no idea at all.

Will making directory at this point of time will be benefits me ?
How much does the directory webmaster earn ?

A web directory is a directory on the World Wide Web. It specializes in linking to other web sites and categorizing those links.
Ex:
dir.yahoo.com

There are many directory do exists, and you can make money by making directories sites.
