I came across many site which says $5 for sign up, Can you believe those site, are they legitimate? Do they pay instantly when you sign up? I guess they hike the minimum payment to 15 $ and say get $5 for sign up and remaining amount you never get. Is that so ?
Yes if they are paying $5 for signing up and paying even 30% members they won't sustain. It is used as a method to attract people to join.
If they stop in between learning that they won't reach payout, the advantage to the site is doubled because they will anyway get money from advertisers.
Also some sites are using this to acquire e-mails from users for using in mailing lists that they sell to ad companies

Some site really paying for those bonus signup, but some of them just want to attract people.
It could be that $5 bonus can't be cashout but just can be used on advertising.
Yes thats what I meant to confirm. Some times offer 5 $ signup bonus... maybe that could be a real cash but such sites have a large payout. And sometimes do offer $200 for signup and so they X 10 times more payout which pretty hard to achieve.

From my experience I can say, 95% of sites which claim sign up bonus never pay and it is just to attract people. Moreover such sites minimum payout would be much higher and it's almost not possible to reach.
first of all the main thing comes in to picture is "such sites are scam"

I never saw a site that pay $5 for sign up, maybe that's not for international member and need credit card to completet that.
Anyway, I'm offering $1 per signup.
So, $1 is still good price for us.
Dear nick, you are right for maximum sites, but some sites are good. Hits4pay gives 10$ signup bonus, and this is real and good site.
