is E-gold safe?

I have a account E-gold but I am worried if it would close. anyone had to have problem with E-gold?

I have e-gold for more than 3 years and I still keep there like 1000USD since the price of gold is going up and never had problems.
Maybe if you would use your account for some fraudlent activities than it would be danger.

Problem of e-gold is that it is hard to operate with this currency, not like paypal.

I have heard lot of e-gold related scams till now. So i dont keep more than 5 USD in my egold account. I immediately transfer that to paypal account.

i just don't believe this site , a month ago i have 20$ dollar there but when i checked myaccount last week there is only 5$ .. :cry:

me to using e-gold but as my IP is not static my e-gold has been hacked two times
So i just affraid on keeping huge balance in my e-gold
But as i think insecurity is increasing by increasing in hacking....

So better be safe!

I my opinion e-gold is 100% safe. But it all depends upon how we protect our funds there like we should never click a unsolicited email which takes to e-gold site. This is how i was hacked once and may be thats the reason why some of u have lost your funds.

if you want my advise you can't tell E-gold safe or not you have to make some steps first like making the accsent option high security and using the srk when log in to your account...
if you are worried about blocking the account i don't know any thing about that.

for me egold are same like other e-currency ...so safe for me ..
just make sure u use maximum security ...
use SRK to enter password ...then use pincode ...recommended using firefox ... use different email for receiving pin-code ....use setting ip detection ..(every time change ip u need to enter pincode) ...then use setting default for refuse received payment from blocked account ..that important ..coz now .if u received money from block account ..automatically u account maybe will get blocked ...to get back its very hard ...

I have only $4 . I think its not so much safe. Many people said this also. sometimes I have also some log in problem..

i really don't know why some people have some problem with their egold account. but i think it is really safe to have egold account. as long as you log into your account using your computer i think it will be safe. don't just use computer in other place like public places like cafes.
