Go for some seo work and you will suceed, I think its not tough to get some 1000 visitors per month frm search engine monthly.

yes. i'm trying this method currently and wish i can increase the PR to 1 or more when google update the PR next time.

2. Use social bookmarking services
3. Use guest post services and comment services

People with other travel sites would probably be more than happy to exchange links or banners with you. Travel sites are cool like that.

...there's already plenty of good advice on here. Backlinks and SEO are very important. One area I am finding that is starting to help some of my blogs grow is social networking. I have quite a few friends who follow my blogs and because they follow them some of their friends do - it's amazing how some blog posting can become very viral!
