I know there are two kinds of scripts - client side and server side. I know only few of them which are as follows, please put more in your reply what you know.
PHP, ASP : Server side scripts
Javascript : Client side scripts
Please list more scripts that is used for web designing, and also say if it's client side or server side scripts
Perl ,ruby, ColdFusion, python are some other server-side scripts and VBScript is a client-side script I've heard of.
Also java can be used as a server side script in java server page (.jsp)
I know few more, asp.net, .net, ajax, but I don't know if it's server side or client side. If anyone knows it, please let me know.
There are many server side scripts and among all these scrip[ts, ASP and PHP are quite common and famous also
