how to delete godaddy account

Hi all ,can u pl tell what is the procedure to delete godaddy account completely ,we have to request or is there any link to delete that.

i think you will get the link in your account manager there you will get renew option ,though i'm not sure you may get a link to cancel your account.

Since it is matter of deleting your account, directly contact them with your user name and ask them to delete your account.

Tom as i hate This godaddy site because its also one among all other nonsense sites they will withdraw any amount from ur credit card without any reason so as soon as possible contact then to delete ur account.

I'm not sure what you mean by they take away money from our credit card. How is it possible? Can they take away our money without permission or providing any password or security code?
Also I wonder what "tom" mean by deleting his godaddy account? Does he mean he wants to cancel the domain that he bought from godaddy?

I dont want to continue my relation with go daddy i want to renew my domain with other company so i want to delete it from godaddy.

ya this happened many times with me and also with other people and godaddy without your permission reselling your domains to other also there are lots of cases running on this issue and when we are purchasing any domain through Credit cards they kept our No. and from it they withdraw money and when we are purchasing any domain by using paypal they have a automatic money withdrawal setting which is not visible to us and there is no option to disable it from that gateway they are withdrawing money from our paypal account i lost $ 100 to $ 150 In these 4 months and i am very much upset due to this we are earning by doing hard working but within a seconds people cheat us and scam us.I hate godaddy.

I know that - godadyy is not a very good site..

As a tips I want to say that - If u going to parchage any Domain then try to choose those site where u can buy it unverified paypal account.- So, its safe for u - no risk for lost money..

In godaddy - u can't buy any Domain only if u have verify paypal account - so, don't go for it..

I completely agree with Paramita if you are choosing godaddy then give money from a unverified paypal account where you have not added any credit card or your bank details etc...better to choose hosting or domain from liquidnet its a trusted site.

we are planning to create a site later so we need to buy a domain also. can't we provide verified paypal account to others also?

The main important thing is - u can't buy in godaddy - if u don't have verify paypal account ... They did not accept money from unverify paypal account .. So, be awar of these type of site.. :twisted:

I am wondering why there are so many bad news happened to godaddy while they are the most wellknown domain registrar company in US. For credit card thefting issues, if they do this, and people report to the US authority, they will sure in big troubles, but until now i didn't see they are being penalty doing this things. It is hard to believe godaddy will do such a things.

Hi if you search properly in google or in any other search engine about godaddy, you will get 70% negative feedback for godaddy and godaddy is very popular for its fraud and scam activities, so people like to buy domains from other site rather than godaddy.

Debasis, since you being misuse of your credit card, did you reported it to the US authority and your credit card bank? This will serves as a warning to them, and they may take actions against them.
