How can we calculate the estimated price of site/blog ?
I'm not so sure but I encountered a widget that you can add in your blog and it tells you how much is it worth. I just forgot the name. I'll try to recall or search about it.
I don't know about these thing.. is it really possible that to calculate the estimated price of site/blog ??
divinagwapa - if it possible then pls remember it and give me the site link..
You can check the value of your web site using the following sites
www.websitevaluecalculator.com
www.mywebsiteworth.com
blog price can be calculated using technorati services.. through here
http://www.business-opportunities.bi...ur-blog-worth/
if you search for blogspot blogs in 'site value' calculator pages it will show only the domain name value not the blog worth
Thanks for your info. Probably these sites will give you the value of your existing site, which is displayed on the net. But if you have more resources in your hand, which also are related to your website, would be uploaded upon a client's requests, then it would not be possible for any site to estimate the value of it.Quote:

I usually view any sites worth in mywebsiteworth but I don't ever think the results showed up by such sites could be true because I don't think anyone would buy for such high price.
actually all those sites aren't accurate and also not near to the truth.
its just a game.
Well for me it is very difficult as I am not much aware of it and never did it before.. but still you can use many criteria for it like - traffic, contents, and also the clients or any other benefits from this site from Ads or if Blogs are good you can sell those so - these all things can help you to decide the price of the site/blog.Quote:

This is really correct. :) Very good suggestion. I will think of doing it. I am having my blog and now day by day I am getting traffic more so now I know the price will be more If I try to sell it now.Quote:

so try to oprtimize your blog and then start a thread about selling your blog.
If you want to sell your blog, and need to find out what you be the minimum asking price, you should go by the following calculation:Quote:

Then, calculate your earnings from the various revenue generating sources on your blog, like, google adsense, bidvertiser, kontera, chitika, any pay per impression ads and so on.
Ask for a price that is at least up to 6 months of the total revenue your site generates. For example, if your site is earning $30 per month by various means, start the bid from $100 to the minimum, and look for anything between $150-$230. There is no need to sell a site for $50 who is earning you 30 bucks every month.
I hope it makes things clear. :)
Actually i read some where about it they say you can estimate from visitors ,unique visitors ,average daily revenue ,to take these things one certain algorithm was there to get annual revenue then whatever your price will come sell it 3 times more.
