As I haven't use any social bookmarking site yet, I don't know how it is working! Besides, are there any categories on the basis of which the social bookmarking sites can be divided, or we can promote any wbsite/blog on any social bookmarking site?

Although i heard of social bookmarkings , i really don't know how they bring traffic toi our site and i need to know this full before getting into such sites

Thanks for the list nick, but I believe that's not complete list, because I do have more than 500 list of social bookmarking site from all over the world and it's still not complete.

I think there needs to be something else other then social bookmarking sites. I mean there are loads of social bookmarking sites out there and if we spend our time there then where we will get time for blogging. I think posting links once is not enough in one site. And we need to post often.

Well every site provide different list of Social Bookmarking site if u search in digital point forum u will find lot's of new and old site have been posted or search in google i have been make list of more than 1500 Social bookmark and some directory site list.
