Free forum hosting is the one which I don't like. Better invest some money and make a good forum.

I'm agree with nick for investing money to make a good forum. I don't know phpbb but some people say that there's security holes in phpbb forum. I would rather to use mybb.

i wonder how much money should i invest to have my owner forum.i want to start a forum as well.but i dont know how. :x

Well, first buy domain then a hosting provider then the script. Find out these in DP forums

Hey I never knew of forumwise. I liked the site. I wanted to build a forum of my own. I can try it on this free domain and if I have any success then I'll go for a bigger one. Thanks paramita. Mostly Iam planning to start a forum wheree people can request stuff and I can get that for them, plus helping them out with any computer related problems.

in free forums there is no way of earning i think so because the ads are provided by the site owner.

I did not know that in free forums the owner puts in the ads. I was thinking of putting my own ads after making a forum here.

Dear Paramita, I'm agree with nick, there is no way of earning in free forum hosting. If you are interested to start a forum, than buy a good hosting.

If you can start your own forum that would be great! I would be one of your members.. :) I think if you want to learn the how tos of running a forum, you should become a moderator first so you'll have an insider's perspective on how it is run.

I think to create a forum is not that hard now, since there are many free forum scripts available for download like phpbb.com. But to earn from forum is a hard way, as you need to attract members to post in your forum as well as driving traffic, find sponsors, sell ads space and also maintain your forum. If we success in creating a good forum, we can see our earnings grow daily!

When we want to creat a forum, naturally we would like to earn through ads on it. But in this type of forums, when the ads are already provided by the host, then what is the fun in creating a free forum?
