why do we need domains?

well i wonder why do we need separate domains?
what is the use of it?

Because domain belongs to different different persons like We have different different names :lol:

we need only domai when we want to start a new website. i think it is really cool to have a domain. i think i will want one when i have made already a very cool blog. so that i will be able to earn more by that.

I personally think of domain names as household addresses on the internet. :)

i somehow agree with you buddy.
domain name is unique and just like we all have our unique address.
but domain name can be sold.

so we can sell our domain after purchasing it. then i will want to use or purchase a domain. and when i don't want to use it i am just going to sell it.
