Friends, I noticed some weh hosting companies ask us to place all our files in "htdocs" folder and some in "public_html", so I wonder what the difference is between them. Moreover, some host don't ask us to create any folder called "htdocs" or "public_html" but when we upload files, it automatically gives the links as "sitename.com/htdocs or /public_html". I wonder how it is so. Hope you help me.
