What is Rapidshare? Can we earn from it?

Friends,
I'm hearing about rapidshare a lot around Internet but still I cannot make out much from Google search. Basically I understand it's a file hosting site but I can't understand completely. Moreover, what is rapidshare premium account? What benefits one get from using rapidshare. Can we earn out of it?

You can earn there by uploading files. Every download ur file = 1 point. 10000 points = premium account which u can sell (in the Poland it's around 5$ per premium account, I don't know where u can sell it).
Uploading.com and others are much better than rapidshare (limits, and much worse earnings).

Thanks friend. May I know then why rapidshare is more popular than other uploading sites? And what is the benefit of getting rapidshare premium account?

All users can use and earn by rapidshare. Rapidshare are very popular, hmm I don't know why maybe because they are "paying" (we have to sell premum account on what we earn ofc) very little for Asian traffic (downloads).

I dont think you can earn from rapidshare account it is just a file storage place ,in fact this is the biggest site using high capacity server at various location ,so rapidshare is very famous and its download upload speed is very fast compared to others.

No lemon it is just not an image hosting site you can store or upload any thing any software ,songs,video file anything in rapid share.

Yes ofcourse mainly rapidshrae is used for downloading purpose ,you can download any software or song or anything already uploaded there.

no you can't earn hard money from it but you can earn points when someone download anything from your rapidshare account and for each download you will get few points when you reached a certain level then you will be rewarded with a gold account for a month or some days like this.

Basically rapidshare is not a paid to upload site like those uploading.com. You can't earn any things from rapidshare, but just earning some points for you to upgrade your account there. Some of members is looking for those premium membership to sell, only this way you can earn money from it. Normal users will never get benefits from rapidshare especially from Asian country.

So, you means we wont get anything by uploading data there, as what we get is only some points to redeem for gold accounts to download uninteruptly for 1 month? In this way, i don't see any good to work with rapid share, i rather with with hotfile and uploading.com to get real money payout.

well. actually i even heard someone sell their rapidshae account on other forums. each price is 5$ or so. so even the account there can also been sell so members there must earn there also. though i have yet to know how to earn there ..

That is not official earning like this you can sell premium Digital point account or verified craiglist account we can't tell those as earning.
