@nick: I think you can earn from ads like adsense or similar, also you can charge a paid/premium directory submission. I believe webmoney have many experiences in this. You can see webmaster-money.org is like a kind of directory specific for affiliation. For investment i think the domain+hosting price will be your investment plus advertising it via adword or other means.

well,there are a lot of programs in webmaster-money and we actually did not try them.these two days i have joined many of them but i think there is still a long time to be skilled in them.
