Google Adsense is not necessary for those start up blogs or websites. It only applied if you have more amount of traffic so that you don't have to waste your investment.

I think you should try out bidvertiser.It is good enough to make some money from it.I have not used it personally but just heard about it.

For gaming, the best affiliate program is by far Affiliates United. It offers generous payouts, has the best marketing tools and they really pay on time.

I really like Datafeedr. It's a WP plugin that allows you to build a full-scale affiliate store using CJ and tons of other affiliate networks.

I stopped using it because I wasn't really working on the site, and there's a recurring monthly fee. But if I had the time and resources, I would totally use that and build a store.
