Flipping websites means, you buy a domain name, then put content on it to make it look like a site and then do little promotion to get in indexed and known a bit. After all this, you sell it. The idea behind this is, you invest some money in buying and domain name, putting content on it and promoting it, and then you sell it at higher price than your expenditure. This way making you profit. The amount of money you can make this way depends upon how good you are in choosing a "hot niche", how good are you in putting up "unique content" and how good you are in "promoting it a bit". This way you can turn your $30 investment into $300 too. Many people do it and earn this way. I remember I had given a free ebook on website flipping to on webmaster-money in some section.

| I never heard the term 'flipping' website and from byyp's mail it is clear what does it mean. Thanks. In one word, it means one can make website and sale, just like any other business. |

| Yes either you can make it or buy from someone (again he has flipped that to you) and add some value to it. How one can advertises his/her website for sale? If you make a website and and sale it to someone without adding some value to it, does it mean flipping? |

No it mean that you buy the website from the owner, make changes in the site and sell to the third person and you gain.

I want to know suppose if MMK admin want to sell his forum, do we say it is "flipping forum" or "flipping website"?
Actually what he really did is he created a website and added a value in it by creating good theme and contents. Then promoted it and many members come in and the site is now in a position to receive good traffic every day.
I assume he had the intention of selling his forum from the first day when he made the forum or website. And now he sold the forum. Then, do we call it is a flipping forum. |
