I always check my sites PR with prchecker.info. I think you can also check this site. It load quickly and show correct PR as I checked it with other sites.

i also did not know how to check the page rank of my blog . have tried the link and it show N/A about my blog..then how to increase the page rank properly?

I suggest prchecker.info to check your page rank accurately. But I commonly use histats.com to see my real hits for my blog . It's also a very nice site and user friendly too.
