| Well times taken from every search engine is different, I think google list your sites faster than others. |

I don't know exactly either, but: as far as know, MSM indexes sooner than the other two.
On google it depends when the "google dance" is taking place...
I am not familiar at all how yahoo works |

| It is not necessary to submit ones site to google, msn or Yahoo to get listed in their search list. They will automatically pick up our site in time, but how much of time will depends on certain things, which I don't know. but if you submit your sitemap to them, it will take 2-3 weeks or may be less and I am sure of it. |

It is important to submit your site to google, as soon as you purchased the domain, the sooner you submit your site, the better.
Submitting to other search engines too, it is optional as they will pick it from google. You might consider submit your site to some paid search engines, choosing some relevant key words for your site. |

Yes it is important, but not necessary to submit ones website to google. Yes, you have to make some important key-words and use some meta-tags in order to get noticed by google. Make a XML sitemap and submit it to google and yahoo. |
