| Page rank is based on how useful your site is? Though it is fully based on arithmatic logic but linking with good sites automatically turns in some visitor to your site that's why link building plays role in pagerank but is never totally dependent. Three party linking decreases pagerank. Be careful on linking too. |

i am not able to understand the what does link exchange mean.
do we need post our blog link somewhere?
or do we need to exchange link of our blog or something like that?
please help this newbie guys!!!! |

Link exchange is on mutual basis. If you and I have blog then if suppose we go for link exchange means that you are placing my site link in your site and so as I do, this help getting visitors and getting a backlink of your. |

To put nick's words in simple terms .... You are making your blog available at all possible places .... You exchange link with 10 people then your link is available at 10 sites...100 people - 100 sites.... The more number of link exchanges the more chances that people will find your site somewhere in the net ... I guess that should explain  |
