| how can i incraese the page ranking of my site on the search engine. do the search engine charges the sites that are listed on the first few pages of the search engines. what are tips to Incraese your page ranking |

| There are a number of ways to do that. You can increase your site ranking by submitting(advertising) your blog to different web directories and you can do article submissions too. Alternatively you have to submit your daily articles to social bookmarking site which provides live traffic to your site. |

yah nick these are good methods to increase page ranking.
But I have heard that submitting your site to direcotires may also reduce your page rankings. is that true? |

Ya definitely Byyp Keyword is the first on the chart, but think once if your not on the top 30 in the search engine ranking of a specific keyword then ???? No traffic to your site !!!!! |

well,i guess you know this yogesh..that "keywords" are many and not just one..so people typing different keywords would be coming by different positions for that very keyword!! on the other hand page rank is for "something" else..i guess you know whats that..  |

Ranking means the rank on which your site is listed in google search engine for a keyword. for example If you search for Deepika Padukone as keyword in google you will find my blog on 46 rank, which is what called ranking. |

Nope, that is SEO rank, not page rank or PR.
If i'm not wrong, maximum PR in Google is 8, where 8 is the highest. |

Well maximum Google PR is 10. Although you will hardly find anysite with that PR. |

What do you mean by "page ranking"? Does that mean in which page our site appears on Google search?
Also, what do you mean by maximum page rank is 10? Does that mean Google will display only 10 pages for any keywords we search? |
